George "Spike" Hamilton is an actor and musician from North Carolina, USA. He was born on December 31, 1930 and grew up in a family of musicians, with his father and brothers all playing different instruments. Hamilton served in the US Navy before starting his career as an actor in the late 1950s. He is best known for his roles in the films "Thunder Road" (1958) and "Hound-Dog Man" (1959). Hamilton also appeared in numerous TV series throughout the 1960s and 1970s, including "The Twilight Zone", "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.", and "Bonanza". In addition to his acting career, Hamilton was a skilled musician, playing guitar and singing blues and country music. He passed away on September 17, 2007 at the age of 76.
